great progress

Of course i don't know the "typical" time line of a child with a broken femur/spica cast. But its been a little over a week and Anthony is cruising furniture. When there's no furniture he'll take a step or two to get to the next piece.

Yesterday he was climbing our step 2 play thing in the back yard (like 4 stairs) so he could slide down the slide. And I heard from school that he was all over the playground (limited of course), she wouldnt let him go down the slide (its not quite like our slide) but he was all over it, probably just walking around. He's ready to go go go. He also stood unassisted yesterday. Another first, it's weird that I am going through all these firsts for a third time haha.
Oh potty training is going great. He's only had two accidents (dont count poopies :))when i forgot to take him and he went too long. The last day or two, i started asking him if he has to go and most times he'll answer yes or no! So exciting! On our way to him telling me he has to go.
Ry is still not ready for potty training. I try one or two times a week and set him on the potty (big toilet and potty seat) and both times he fighting to get up. He knows what its for, he sees brother on it all day. But no interest to do what brother is doing :)
We got them some 4 wheel ATV ride on toys that move forward if they push a button. Just got them yesterday, but anthony is deathly afraid of his! haha. Ry likes it ok. It will come in time. Thus the reason i went with 2 cheaper toys instead of 1 big 2 seater or 2 bigger cars for each of them lol. Well that and our impending move.
That we still don't know if we get to go to Germany or not. It is in review, Josh talked to the airman in charge and she said that wanted rys IFSP. I totally forgot to include ECI for Ryan haha. But germany was told, that he only gets speech once a week. Hopefully we should know soon!!!
Our move date was pushed back to July 30. So we'll be here for end of school and most of summer. We don't know why it was pushed  back but it was, none the less. (not sure if i already mentioned that or not :))

Oh dont forget April is Autism Awarness month.  I'm hopefully getting mine today :). If you want to purchase anything. I purchase right from Autism Speaks at
http://store.autismspeaks.org/default.aspx?p=viewcat&showpage=2
There are t-shirts, pins, magnets for your cars, etc... and ship pretty quickly either with usps priority or ups. 2 day wait. i recommend getting people together and buying a bunch, so not everyone has to pay the shipping. Helps the pocket book :)
And Today April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day. Please wear blue to show your support. Thanks!!!
Welp until next week  or so :)
