Merry Christmas All!! This year is turning out so fun. Anthony is finally starting to understand the holidays.
He loved Halloween and knew he was supposed to say "trick or treat", ry mostly chilled he could care less lol. at least until it came to eating the candy!
Thanksgiving both just thought it was lunch. We don't have the huge crowd of family near by to come over or to go visit and make it special. This was the first year in a few years we stayed home. The last few years we had Thanksgiving at Josh's dad's house. But we stayed home this year and my mom joined us.

Merry Christmas!!!
Got lots of goodies for the boys for christmas. I made santa sacks for some other goodies that "santa" will drop off.
and some playfood
i still have some dress up vests to make that match the dress up hats we got them. these things will go in the santa sacks as well as some other items for their playfood. so exciting.
Anthony has really progressed the last few months. he and ryan have so much fun together, pretending and acting out skits.
Last week anthony made a huge progression and started saying "look at me mommy" or "mommy, watch this" which is huge!!! and today he's been talking about going to Ayla's all day, back to her birthday party we attended yesterday. He has never done this before. a few times last month he asked to go see his friend Caleb. but we never got over there, so he hasn't asked again.
Oh and he is in cotton undies 100% of the time except for night time. Going to start training Ryan soon. We'll see if he's ready yet.
Ry is a talking machine! He still has some work to do, but hes starting to ask for things instead of whining or getting them himself. and he's full of hugs. He knows all his letters and their sounds and numbers. Knows his animals and their sounds.
I have decided to just get Ry retested. We don't think he is autistic at all. But everyone keeps asking just because anthony is and Ry has a few characteristics. Which all kids do. But they have to have so many as well as be on the spectrum. Ry was tested a year ago December when he was 22 months, he was on the spectrum because he was behind in some areas like speech and coordination BUT he didnt have enough autistic tendencies. So the said he does not have it. but recommended him getting tested again in a year. Or course he is going to have some characteristics because anthony does. And its just learned from him. But he doesnt have many of the issues anthony does, not characteristics but issues. I just want to be able to tell people for sure or for certain that no he does not have it. And if does happen to have it we would be already doing everything he would need anyway, with speech and school. I am just tired of ppl assuming it just because of Anthony. Yes the odds are that if you have one child with Autism its 1/20 to have another with it.
He will be starting school in February when he turns 3. He will attend the same school as Anthony, but i want them in different classes. I want ry to be able to make friends. He is rather shy and takes awhile to warm up to other children.
Sorry just had to vent. Thanks for listening :) I hope everyone got their christmas cards. If you didnt please message me as it might have gotten lost or i may have gotten your address late and can't remember if i already sent one or not :) perpetual mommy brain.
Hope everyone has a great holiday!
